Enlarging a waistband.
Does anyone know of a website, etc. that could give instructions on how to enlarge a waistband on pants, skirts?
I have added a V-shaped insert (that I cut off of the hem) at the top of the back seam on a pair of pants and also added some length to the waistband.
I have never "let out" the waist on pants before. It worked, but it is not pretty at all. Functional but not pretty
Any advice would be great.

Thank you nuisance.
The one from Sew News Library is especially helpful.
It sure is nice to have helpers with resource knowledge to lean on for help.Hello from Sunny Central Florida
