    Default in my spare time.

i made a bag for my yoga mat!

we're looking at some cameras/scanners so i can take pics and put 'em on my computer to share. so when i get my own camera, i'll be able to share!

anyway i wanted to share that i made a nice bag for a LOT less than i could buy in any store!

    and it's personalized.

Good to hear. I pulled out my sewing machine recently to hem pants. Now am thinking of sewing some aprons out of recycled material from old clothing. I forgot how relaxing and rewarding sewing is.

Good for you. It's probably much better quality than the puchased ones too.

The vinyl bags that came with our chairs we take to outdoor concerts -- you know the ones that fold up and go in a bag, fell apart while the chairs were still in great shape. So I made new ones from a heavy cotton duck and added pockets on the outside. I salvaged the drawstring and locking hardware from the old ones and reused them.

I've made my own water bottle holders too -- with a shoulder strap. Once you master sewing a tube to a circle and a drawstring casing the skys the limit for what you can make.
