I am making Teddy bear blankets
This is going to be my next project and I think I could sell them for a nice profit. I will make them out of flannel. What do you think? Would you pay 45 for one of these?

Ann,
Well if it's fluffy and stuff, yeah I would pay $45 but I guess it would depend on the size really. I would most likely buy it as a gift for a new parent.

REALLY cute.....I think I would pay 40 to 45 for it. As Tracy said it definitely would depend on the size.

They aren't small by any means. But they aren't really fluffy and puffy either. I guess I could figure out how to puff them up some more.

They are really cute and I think you will do well with them. I can't say that I would pay $45 unless they were monogrammed or something, but definitely at least $30-$35. You could use extra thick batting to make them fluffy. JMO
I can't wait to see pictures!

~Looks like $100 to me. Have you looked on Etsy for similar items to see what they're selling at?~

I looked and did find one person who was selling similar ones on Etsy for 55. So I feel comfortable with 45. Now I have to get my butt to work and make one.

How long would it take you to make one? I was thinking, you can offer an advantage and let them pick their style and color.
I was just thinking about the blankets again and how I think my DD would like it (she tries to act all grown, but she's not even 8 yet
) but she would like a green dog.
That of course got me thinking about how someone else may want a purple cat to match their DD's walls... or maybe a blue bear for their DS's...
I know... more work, and not helping very much... just passing on my random thoughts.
... and if she had an embroidering program, she could make even more money...
