Some of these things are:

Handspinning, weaving
Tatting, embroidery
Cake decorating, pastry making
Making candles and soaps
How about you?

I would like to:
Learn to use a sewing machine, I have one but I don't know how to use it.
Learn to say NO once in a while. I find that sometimes I am way too nice when the situation requires me to be otherwise.
Learn to um... uh.... cook. I know how to cook a few things, but SO is the chef of the house.
Learn to be more domestic and crafty. I think that is why I am here. I am inspired to be more creative and make things rather than buy everything, because of you all.

I want to learn to:
crochet
speak French
I did teach myself to paint a couple of years ago,and I find great joy in that.
When I was a little girl my Nana tried to teach me to crochet and knit, but I just didn't have the patience for it~looking back it is one of those things I regret. She died 15 years ago when she was 95 and I miss her so!!
Anyway,I want to learn to speak French,my 14 year old is in her 3rd year of French class so I think I'd better take advantage of this!!

I'd like to learn:
another language
how to make candles from scratch (not the melt and pour type)
weaving
wood working
how to fix my computer
Ladies, I do most of the things you all would like to learn. I was a bit of an oddity growing up.
I crochet, knit (hand & machine), sew (mainly home decor & clothes), cross stitch and I have tried just about every craft out there at least once. If you have any questions, I would be more than happy to help if I can.

There are so many things I would love to learn that sometimes I doubt I will be able to try them all. I love homebirth, my son was born at home so I would like to study midwifery.I also would like to learn to sew with a machine, I can't even sew on a button.
I can't seem to master muffin making, So I need to practice that. LOL. I would love to garden but we don't have any land so I could try pot gardening. I would love to can jellies and jams. I would also love to quilt but I don't know the first thing about it.
