someone sent this to me, and i thought it might be interesting or useful to ya'll here.
just a quick glance and there's lettuce soup, simple casseroles, grilled fish, baked pork... you name it... it's cheap... it seems to be here.

Doesn't take a lot to make these and the cost is very low.
Here is one call Meals for hard times. This one really gives you some new ideas. It has 3 parts to it (other two at the bottom of the page) and offers some great ideas.

There's also (if you don't know it) the Food Inflation Fighter's Handbook by Judith Klinger. It's a book, but one of my favs.
