    Question Do you multi-task?

This is one thing I can't do. I can only work on one thing at a time. Trying to do two or more things is impossible for me.

I can't talk on the phone and do dishes. I can't knit and watch tv (I can't even have the radio on when knitting). And on and on it goes.

    How about you?

I have a friend who says that I am the master of multitasking.....whatever that means. I listen to my ipod, sing and scrapbook. I can be online and watch TV with hubby at the same time. I can garden/do dishes/clean/iron and talk on the phone......actually, I often save my ironing for when I want to talk on the phone a long time to my bff.

I always have more than one thing going on, I've tried doing one thing at a time and it just doesnt feel right. Seems I get more done doing them all at once.

I'm always multi-tasking! Though I've learned not to talk on the phone while doing dishes...I dropped it once....once....a new phone later and lesson learned!

I can multi-task just about anywhere. Phone, computer, radio, cooking, cleaning, at work - emailing while talking or on the phone.

I CANNOT multi-task while driving. I can listen to the radio if it's music or traffic reports and that's about it (no talk radio). I don't like to talk and really HATE talking on the phone, while driving. Seeing people texting while driving freaks me out. I'll answer if it's family and tell them immediately that I'll call them back. If it's work, I'll pull over.

Yep, a lot of the time.....but not when bookkeeping. I have to have peace and quiet or I make the ssstuuuupidest mistakes. So on anything else yes.....but not when I'm at the desk.....it's leave me alone...the whole family knows it too.

I multi-task more at work than at home because I have to. At home I might watch tv while on the computer, but if I'm reading I try to just read. If I'm eating dinner I try to just enjoy my dinner without other distractions.

It depends on what I am trying to do. Something that I truly need to concentrate on, like finances....I don't even try to multi task. Others like cleaning and watching tv..no problem. I like to iron while watching tv.

I really don't like it. I don't mind crocheting with something to listen to, but that's about it.

Oh. I'm really good at munching and reading (unfortunately). Does that count?

I have a lot of nervous energy, so I tend to do more than one thing at a time, regardless of what I'm doing. I *don't* text while driving, but I have a bluetooth and I make a lot of calls while on the road. I knit while reading, watch t.v. while on the computer while waiting to take stuff out of the oven, etc. When I have to sit still for very long, I get very fidgety, and typically, I'll start tapping my foot, or bouncing my leg up and down. My mother gets mad at me and tells me I'm shaking my luck out.

Multi-task is my middle name. I have to do more than one thing at a time or I feel I'm wasting time. Right now I'm in relax (sort of) mode. I am finishing up baking and drying clothes - all for work tomorrow. Earlier I started baking and started to cook dinner. Now, some days, I just don't feel like doing a darn thing. That's when I make lists of all the things I have to do when I get back into it.

I have to be doing more than one thing at a time. I would go nuts if I didn't multitask.
