Has Anyone Read This?
Country Living Simple Country Wisdom : 501 Old-Fashioned Ideas to Simplify Your Life by Susan Waggoner
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Cou...8167507/?itm=2
It was published in early June 2009, so there may be no one who has read it, but I figured I'd ask. I put it on my wish list for when Julia and I lift our Barnes and Noble ban. I also requested it at my library if and when they get a copy.

I don't know about your library, but mine will go out of the area to get a requested book. I've even received a book from out of state. You might want to check it out.

Hi,
I noticed that 2 of your posts are about simplifying life. I have been interested in this subject for quite some time. Here are some books that I own that talk about that same subject. The Simplicity Reader by Elaine St. James; The Joy of Simple Living by Jeff Davidson; Keeping Life Simple by Karen Levine; A Womans Guide to a Simpler Life by Andrea Van Steenhouse; and The Simple Life edited by Larry Roth (thoughts on simplicity, frugality and living well by Amy Dacyczyn (The Tightwad Gazette); Jo Dominguez & Vickie Robin (Your money or your life) and others.
Elaine St James also has a book How to Simplify Christmas.

Think I will check out my library list for that too.
Our library will go to other ones to get the book and we are connected to many small outlying areas so they just might have/get it.

Mahalo ladies for all of the resources - opening up another world!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

“Decluttering isn't just simplifying your life. It's having a vision, setting new priorities and using those notions to get rid of obstacles.”

Thanks for the heads up on the new book. I'm always looking for simplifying inspiration. Elaine St. James is one of my favorites. I have 3 of her books.
