What I Learned Today
I've created a new page on my blog and I thought it might be a nice thread for us to have here at the village as well.
At the end of the day, I like to try to find some lesson that I've learned that day, because I truly believe that we are always learning something new. I don't mean things like prime factorization. I mean things like "Today I learned that it really isn't difficult to be kind to a nasty person," or something silly like, "Today I learned that peanut butter doesn't taste good on a hot dog." Just something that you learned or figured out that day that you didn't know before.
So, hopefully you'll join me and we can realize that we all always have room to grow.
Today I learned that even after 11 years of marriage, and even though sometimes we can have too much togetherness, I really enjoy hanging out with my in-laws. A lot.My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Hmm...today, I learned that I have the granddaddy of all rattlesnakes living under a big boulder in my pasture.
I learned that even though I feel it every year, I LOVE those first few days of fall when I wake up in the morning and feel cold. I learned that I can successfully plant a fall garden (my first!). I am sure I learned and forgot about a dozen other things today, to learn them again another day, but three is a pretty good count for one day.

Today I learned that no matter how much you try to help someone and teach them the right way, it doesn't mean they are going to do the right thing

I learned that some people are never going to be happy no matter what. I also learned that I have been so busy that I forgot how much I missed getting together with my BIL and SIL.
