The values we teach our children can be a vital role in how they perceive money and what is important.

I have found that teaching our children how to evaluate the following can help.

    Entertainment and activities
    Hobbies and toys
    Clothes and fashion
    Gift giving

Sometimes the difference is in how you word things.
Try we have a better way to spend our money vs. we can't afford that.

Brandy I totally agree! However my children are 21 and 18 and I did not do a very good job teaching them these lessons. I am relearning the lost art of Simple Living and I can only hope that my kids can learn from my mistakes.
