Talking Share your laugh for the day

This morning hubby had me laughing. The dog gets all freaked out happy wise when Dh is getting his shoes & coat on to go take him for a walk. This morning Riley was off the charts & I told him to "take a chill pill". Without missing a beat Hubby chimes in with "Heck Riley, take the whole bottle."

What tickled your funny bone & brought joy to your day?

Yesterday... I have a project on the dining room table, I have a freshly made sandwich one place over, I leave my chair out to go upstairs for no more than 2 mins., I come down the steps to see a 30 lb sheltie (Lacy) STANDING ON MY TABLE, STRADDLING MY PROJECT AND MUNCHING ON MY SANDWICH!!!

I hit the roof.... I don't think that dog has ever been so afraid of me since we got her.

It was good though to finally catch her in the act. We usually find torn bread wrappers on the floor when we get home.

It was a funny site but I can't let her know that. I hope she gets the lesson that she is NOT allowed on the dining room table.

Our two cocker spaniels are cheap entertainment.

Yesterday the hubby is dragging a deer down the driveway behind his 4 wheeler. So the 2 dogs have to go out to check out the action. They know *deer* equals liver and heart for them.
So hubby is going slow and looking back to make sure where the two dogs are. The white one, Freckles jumps on the deer and is hugging it going down the driveway. Hubby stops, he is laughing so hard. Dog gets off, and is standing there making sure his food does not get away. Then hubby starts up again, Freckles jumps back on again. His son figured it out the second time. The dog was *seasoning* the meat........sigh........14 yrs old he is, and a fixed male.

Yesterday Buster, the blonde one, manages to get his toenail caught in the afghan on the couch, and in a panic. Also had a few burdocks on his belly too, to add to the mix. At 1 am in the morning. Hubby's solution was to cut a hole in the afghan to free the dog. ( I think it's fixable......about the size of a 50 cent piece )
