Default Road Map for the Day (01/14/2011)

I have been reading a number of books about simple living, and one of them recommends starting each day with a clear plan of what you hope to accomplish, so you don't end up frittering the day away.

My plan for today is to check on my goat, Samson, and give him his meds. Then I need to clean out my truck and drive it to the camper shell manufacturer to get the window replaced. I am meeting a co-worker there, who will give me a ride to work from there. I have a meeting at 10:30a, and it will probably end at about lunch time. I am going to try to bow out, but since the person giving me the ride will be at the meeting, I may have to sit through lunch to get my ride back to the truck. Once home, I will check on Samson again, try to get him to eat a bit, then let the dogs out for a run while I clean up the puppies' pen. I will put the puppies in with the big dogs for a while, and take advantage of the empty laundry room to get laundry done for the day. Dinner for everyone, everyone back in their respective rooms, and then meds to Samson again before it gets too dark to see. Back in the house, where I hope to work on my sweater project before going back to bed.

That is my planned day. We'll see how the actual day compares.

What is your road map for the day?

This is a good idea..I usually make out a list on Saturday night for the week..I try to put down under the day what has to be done and then maybe extra if I have time..if not I move it to the next day..As a lot of my things depends on the weather I may have to put things off a day or two but always try to get it all in the week...Keeps me on track to get things done and not spend all day on the computer..lol
