I feel like you do today......lazy!! DON'T go shopping!!! The worse time to go is when you are bored. You will end up spending more money than planned and come home with stuff you really didn't want.

I am going to see if the wild blueberries are ready to be picked and maybe make some muffins and freeze some. Then some laundry, purging, organizing and maybe even some sewing!

If I can't find the energy to do all that, then I might just sit outside with a good book and a cup of coffee.

Let's see...today's list...clean pantry, defrost freezer, pick raspberries and make freezer jam, pick blueberries and freeze, break down 20# bag of flour into smaller bags, buy Ragu spaghetti sauce @ .50 a jar for stockpile, and buy laundry detergent $2.00 for stockpile...that's about it :-)

Its a stormy day here in the northeast so no outside activities here. Getting ready to blanch and freeze carrots and zukes. May venture out for a few things at Aldi and a sunday paper. hope to work on a rug I'm making and finish a book

Try going shopping in your closets. Whenever I clean out my closets I notice items I had completely forgot about.

How about giving yourself a spa day and just pamper yourself with a homemade facial and a long soak in the tub. Or reading a good book or magazine. Watch a video.

Today am going out to a restaurant for lunch. Already know what I plan on having.

    Default yes...thanks everyone...

i have figured it out...I have already hung the new shears for my daughters room for the closet...we were going to put closet doors on but i am going for the cheap makeover..I wish i had posted before and after pics so you could see however i will post after pics on my facebook page and then will post the link to that...She has a beautiful circle table that needs refinishing so that is my goal for today...I am going to paint that white and see how that looks...and i think dh is moving slowly but i think he realizes that if he wants a quiet uneventful day he is going to cut down a couple of trees....hehe...No nagging yet though and i really dont want to have to....because i to want an uneventful day also and just want everyone to be happy...but also warm this winter without paying an outrageous heating bill...which i cannot afford and refuse to pay...

I have 3 teenage boy's that seem to aim to much to the left where I see urine on the side of the toilet..I also have a legally blind brother? I don't think it's him though he seems to be very cautious about the toilet thing..he is also a germ freak..Anyway I make my boy's clean the bathroom! Oh they don't like it! But I didn't make the mess and it's good to give them responsibilty..They better look like helping their wives with the house work or mom will put a foot in their butt!

Default well he cut down two trees to be exact...

dh has back issues so the two was more than enough...he started to do more but i could tell he was done physically...i asked him what he was doing...He said"you want me to cut down 12 trees right"? I said, "i'm not mean, i just want you to do some when you can"....So i made sure to say thank you and i really appreciate it....so next weekend it might not be so hard to get him to do it...
