Being content with what I have and not wanting more is my goal Things are just that, things. The more we have the more we need to take care of. Hubby and I have bought an RV. We are selling and giving away everything we can't use in that. He is retiring in the fall and this will be or new life style. I'm finding it so freeing When we go to town to buy food these days, it's such an awesome feeling for me to know that we don't need to stop at walmart and the like to get more stuff. We will be doing what we love. Spending time together, exploring new places, visiting our children and grand children. Time to just live and enjoy this life the Lord has given us. Praying too, that the Lord will open doors for us along the way to be used by Him

    Default Simplicity, to me, means...

being true to yourself. This takes knowing yourself, your values, and your priorities.

Here are a few of mine

    God > Family > Friends
    Experiences > Possessions
    Freedom > Security
    Solitude > Socialite
    Sincerity > Popularity
    Respect > Prestige
    Value > Quality
    Creativity > Entertainment
    Challenges > Comfort
    Contributing > Consuming
An inequality to strive for: income > outgo
