    Arrow Henry David Thoreau said....

It is not enough that you are busy, the question is "What are you busy about?"

What do you think Thoreau is saying here. Do you agree or disagree?

I think he means that we should focus on and understand what we are doing and then get busy doing it. That simply following the herd and not questioning your life and what you're doing is not really living at all. And yes, I think most people just do what they think is expected of them, or what their own parents did or what their friends are doing and never really work out what their own life should be about.
Socrates said "An unexamined life is not worth living." I agree with both of them.

What are you doing? Are you running around doing a bunch of things that don't amount to anything soulful or meaningful? Think about what it is that is important to you and do it.

How are you filling your days...all these days are really your life.

Oh I loved his book Walden. Have you read it?
