~My boys who really do have good hearts and are trying really hard to make up for their mistakes.
~Wild irises found today in a pasture.
~The anticipation of my newest nephews birth within the next week or so.

I'm thankful that ds's cell phone only needed a battery (it was lost in the wreck) to work again. I was afraid it was trash.

I'm thankful for all the sales at the grocery store that stretched my meager budget. I truely think God knew my needs and met them at the store. For instance, I had walked by the discounted bakery items, and got a couple things off it- but there wasn't much there. I went on through the store and stopped to chat with a coworker who was also shopping. As we talked I saw a store employee pushing a cart of baked goods toward the discount bin-- I went back after I finished talking to my friend and loaded up. French bread for .25/loaf, apple pie for .50, peach pie .50, doughnuts .25/doz and so on. Same with the dented can bin,meat and produce carts. . . . I managed to get almost my entire list from the discounted items.

For cell phones with nationwide calling plans-- so my dh and dd can call me several times a day to update me on how things are going in Washington DC
