Living authentically means...

What to you? How do you explain the authenic life to someone or even to yourself?

I read this and clicked off and clicked back. It's a hard one to answer. I think to me it means being true to yourself, to your beliefs, to your morals and your values. It's living a life that you choose that represents how you really feel about situations rather than trying to put up a fake front to gain others admiration.

I debated long & hard before even sticking my nose into this one....there's so much crap going on in my life - I wondered if I even remembered how to live authentically...I sat down and did some self-evaluation.....

I've come to realize:

- I still have distinct goals for my life & I'm still plodding along toward those goals....
- I still have a passion for certain things - my kids, singing, homeschooling, still want to serve GOD with all my heart....
- I still hold firm to those qualities that I consider to be strengths....
- I am still aware of what I need from myself & from others....
- I still avoid negative people & try to surround myself with those who edify....

I know that I have been put here for a reason - I know that GOD will reveal that reason to me in HIS good time!
