Thinking about thinking
Simplicity is very much about making thoughtful decisions and having a path that our lives will follow. This means we need to consciously think about our lives and what we plan on doing.
I have a few places where I think about things. For example, when I'm ironing I think about Frugal Village
; when I'm in bed I think about what I did that day and what I'll do tomorrow and when I'm sitting on the front verandah I think about my life in general.
Where do you think about your important things?

I do some of my best thinking in the shower.
It's one of the few places that I can be alone in my home. If I'm near a lake or a river I also tend to think about my life and work things out in my mind.

Your a smart thinking lady Miss Bethany. Unfortunately I think of too many things in the middle of the night.
I try to tell myself to think about it during the light of day to no avail & I lose sleep.
. I do a lot of my thinking other than that as I'm doing dishes or when I'm shopping.(One thing usually starts me thinking of another and ...watch out) I do have my quiet moment's LOL.

I do a lot of my thinking out on the back porch, riding in the car, and while I'm crocheting. Gardening brings me memories, hopes, and dreams.
At bedtime, I am out like a light. I read a few pages of a book and I crash. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Most of my thinking is done while walking, quilting or just before I go to sleep.

The only place I can think is in bed. If the family thinks I am going to sleep they don't talk to me. lol, otherwise its always someone chatting away and i can't think straight.

I think alot in bed. For myself, too, it's one of the rare times I have quiet time....

For me, it's the shower. I always think about all the things I need to get done for the day.

For me it's in a long soak in the tub or on my daily walk. Those are great times to sort through things in my head.

In the shower, in bed, or while doing menial tasks that don't require much attention, works for me. I do a lot of thinking while sorting the clothes.

I walk by the river each day and do my thinking there mostly.

In bed, unfortunately. I have a tough time turning my brain down so I can sleep. I also love to sit and stare at a fire and think. In fact, I predict that will be part of my weekend.

I have a long commute so I take that time to be quiet and thoughtful. Another favorite time is very early morning before anyone else is up.
