~The fact that it is July 4th and we have only used our air 3 times this summer

~yippee, after almost a year I can finally e-mail Carolyn (for those who don't know, she could never receive an e-mail from me)

A country that I love

My family- and the reunion at my house today. Everyone showed that said they were coming. We had a wonderful time.

That no one was hurt in the lightening strike near my house this morning.

That the 2 kids who got stung today- were not the ones allergic to stings. (one bee, one wasp)

for good home cooking-- my aunts, my mom's, my sister's, mine-- lots and lots of terrific foods.

For the wonder of modern technology that allowed me to video tape my great aunt and uncle yesterday- and show it today at the reunion.
