My pick this week for a huge thank you is Carolyn (Karlisangel). What can I say Carolyn, other than you have been such a blessing to me and to the village. We were married the same year, we both had the exact same wedding dress and just lately I noticed in one of your pictures, we have the exact lace curtains. My best friend from Winnipeg has the exact first and last names. We love victorian, lace and linen. Its amazing how much alike we are.

Your posts are always warm, compassionate and even though you've gone through your own struggles this past year, your always here for a hug or a prayer for those needing it.

Lets all give Carolyn a huge thank you this week.

Momma - words won't do justice to how I feel about you! I love you sooo much! When my own mother shunned me, you so willingly picked me up, dusted me off, and loved me for me!

Everything about you screams selflessness & compassion...

You are the epitome of all that is good, all that is wholesome, all that is loving...

Someone to praise a triumph,

He must have known we'd need to share
The joy of "little things"
In order to appreciate
The happiness life brings.
I think He knew our troubled hearts

At trials and misfortunes,
At goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need companionship;
Unselfish...lasting...true.
And so the Creator answered the heart's great need

Carolyn~ You are an angel to so many of us here. Your love and compassion have lifted me up, strengthened and encouraged me. Words cannot do justice to how special you are! I love you and pray that your many budrens will be lifted and that God will strengthen you each and every moment.

I love you because you are just so dang wonderful on every front. You share all that you have with us, including plants right out of your yard. You are just so sweet and caring. I wish I was more like you.

When I hear or read your name the first thing to comes to mind is TRUE FRIEND. Even through your own struggles you have been there for each of us, you are so many things to all of us, surrogate Mother, Sister, Auntie, Friend ! In everything you do here you are genuine and loving.... You are truly a treasure and a blessing to each and everyone of us.... This would be an empty place without you !!!!!!!! I really do love you so !

I've learned to know you and I have found a special friend in you.
I admire you joy of life and you positve outlook on life, even with the health problems you have been through...I admire your strength.

You are always so thoughful and compassionate. You are there to bring our spirits up when we need it. You never spare your prayers for a friend in need. You are truly a generous woman.

I feel very lucky to be your friend and enjoy very much to share with you here in FV and Homestead Garden.

Carolyn, oh where do I start....you are an angel in disguise I'm sure of it. You are such a blessing to each and every one of us here. You are beautiful inside and out

I am so thankful that our "paths crossed" a year and a half ago. We met discussing gardening and our friendship has grown and flourished from there.

Carolyn, I admire your compassion for others, your kindness in all situations, your love and loyalty to family and friends, your heart of gold and your sweet graciousness!

What a wonderful choice.

I think Carolyn is so giving. She is unselfish and gives of herself freely. I know that Carolyn is always there for a friend in need.
