    Default my daily pix #19

    I just took DH into the airport and my pixs today were taken on the drive back home. It was still dark when I left the airport but halfway home the sun started coming up over Australia to reveal another perfect day.
    The first pic is the crocodile sign just off the freeway.

    I live near the Glasshouse Mountains which was the name given to them by first English man who came to Australia, James Cook. The aboriginal legend gives each of the 6 mountains a name - Mount Tibrogargan is the father mountain and Mt Beerwah is the mother. Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is at Beerwah. I'm not sure what the aboriginals would say about him. this is the sign outside his place.

    Bethany, I love the picture of Mount Tibrogargan! Confession - I have a real thing for mountains. I would really like to see that one up a bit more close and personal.
