    Default my daily pix #21

I've missed a couple of days as I've been busy. Sorry ladies. Anyhow, we are back on the air today and my pic for September 22 is the place I feel most comfortable in the world (apart from my bed). This is my front verandah where I contemplate my world. I think here, I drink tea, I read, knit and sew and talk to my dogs. It all happens here. Sometimes I take the phone outside and phone my sister or friends and babble on for ages.

When I sit here it looks out to the one lane little street I live on, but you can't see anything but trees and greenery. No one lives across the road and it's all pine trees. Birds come to visit, I hear frogs croak, little spiders and lizards run around and very occasionally a snake will slither by - that's happened twice in 7 years.

I'm totally at peace when I sit here. There are orchids just beside the chairs and ferns and plants all around. It's like a rainforest haven.

Do you have a favourite place where you can totally relax?

That's a lovely place you have. Looks so peaceful and relaxing. I don't really have a place to escape to like that. Hopefully someday I will when I own a home.

I see her!! I used to have a nice porch like that in Phoenix. Its so buggy here in colorado. I love your big fluffy green plants and little fountain and all the wicker. We are going to add a sunroom on to our house in January (our Christmas present) and your patio is exactly the look I'm after - with my collection of iron suns of course. I'm sure you'll enjoy your spring there!!

That looks so very relaxing Bethany, I have a patio area surrounded by greenery that I love to sit out on during the summer. It's going to get a bit of an upgrade this year to make it larger!
Saw your dog peeking around the corner, so cute!

I see her! What an inviting spot to relax. I have a big old comfy armchair in my office in the basement. It's not pretty, the chair or the basement (yet) but it's all mine. Now if I just had a locking door on it I would be happy.

I'm depressed now... I want a front porch like that...It's so beautiful Bethany...so peaceful.... I have to try to make myself a peaceful front porch like that....but mine will be looking out to the street where a gang of kids, including mine are skateboarding, playing basketball or sitting on the curb of the street just talking...
