    Default my daily pix #23

Isn't it wonderful the way we are saved by nature. Our new next door neighbours, who have been really lovely except for this, erected a huge corrugated shed that can hold at least four cars, right next to our common front fence on the right hand side of our house. I don't like it at all but they did ask what colour we wanted it painted, it started out white, now it's green.

A few years ago I planted this old fashioned white rose just near where the shed is now. All of a sudden, in late winter, the rose started climbing and must have added three metres of growth in the past two months. And then? Why it flowered more than it's ever flowered before. I'm stoked. I don't see the shed now, I see the roses and that, my friends, has taught me an important lesson.

and what's this? when you get closer to the rose bush, you can hear it humming. It's alive with bees and here are some of them rolling in the pollen.

Beautiful nature pics Bethany, I'm really glad that the rose has grown to hide the shed!

Smart you and beautiful smart rosebush. The leaves are shiny green and those flowers are huge!

That is a beautiful rose bush. Mother Nature is an awesome decorator isn't she?
