Ryan - my lovey boy
THis is Ryan - he is ten and he is such an empathetic little guy. He often cries cuz he has no friends - but then I find out that he is being picked on cuz he hangs out with a little asthmatic boy who the other kids steal things from and Ryan feels his duty is to protect him. Ryan wants to be cool but he hates unfairness and singling any kid out. The teacher's call me and tell me this is infact the case - that sometimes he gets beat up but never backs down. I don't want him hurt but I am proud that he stands up for what he believes in. He has definately caught someones eye cuz everyday after the bus stops the phone rings and a little girl says "is Ryan There" through giggles and she always hangs up when I ask who is calling!!! My real worry for Ryan is that he will end up with Depression like me - he shows all of the signs. But hopefully when he is a teen they will have a miraculous new drug - much better than Prozac- and he will get to be the happy, inventive, out of the box, rocket scientist his teachers think he can be!!!

He is a cutie!!!! No wonder the girls are calling him. My oldest son is like your Ryan. Jaysn would always stand up for anyone who was being picked on or who looked lonely. Jaysn has a compassionate heart, just like your Ryan.

He is a wonderful boy. You have done a wonderful job of raising him. I think that compassion is one of the finest human traits that God gave us.
He is a cutie, no wonder he has an admirer.

He is good looking! I have a son who is just like your dson. In school he was always looking out for the 'under dog'. He's 19 now and still has a heart of gold.
My son's name is Ryan,too.

Oh Kimmee he's such a cutie!! I agree, no wonder he has an admirer. It's awesome that he has a big heart and is filled with compassion. You have taught him so well.
