Exclamation Our weekly thank you - Oct. 16 - 23rd - Dee (Sewcrafty) this is for you

I won't be here tomorrow, so I'm doing this today. My choice this week is Dee (sewcrafty). Dee what can I say. You've shown us what courage was when you went through your chemo treatments. You've shown us what compassion is when your always there to support when others are going through trials. You've shown us what encouragement is when you've been there to encourage whenever someone is learning to sew, knit or crochet. You've shown us what friendship is by just being YOU!!! Thank you for being YOU and for being a part of the village.

Lets all give Dee a huge thank you this week.

You dear lady are such an inspiration to me. You've battled cancer and WON!!!! All the while you still stayed positive and encouraged us all here, made us laugh and taught us a thing or 7 about sewing, chrocheting, knitting, etc.. And...this is a big plus in my book ...you are a fellow cat lover who has a heart of gold!!!! Love ya!!!!

I'm your # 1 fan my friend. I am so glad I found this Village and you. We've been together through some of lifes major tough times. Laughed, cried and hugged each other with hundreds of pm's, many e-mails & phone calls too.
You are a strong, caring, funny, talented lady who means the world to me. I couldn't imagine not having you beside me sharing the good & the bad this wonderful life has to offer.
    Love you!

Oh Dee, even when I was gone a year, I still remembered this wise, funny and compassionate lady, and hoped she was still here when I came back, and I was so blessed. I got here, asked and HERE YOU ARE!!!!

Dee is an inspiration to me! She has proved that you CAN overcome anything. She has taught me so much about life through her posts. The Village would not be the same without Dee.

Thanks so much for being here at the village. You're so very talented. I appreciate all of your help with my crochet problems. Your tutorials are easy to understand and helped a lot.

You do so much. I just don't even know how!

I loved your canning pictures. You helped motivate me in the spring fling too.

I enjoy seeing the pics of your kitties.

You give so much of yourself to everyone. Always a kind word and so supportive.

for being a very special person.

Dee, I'm a recent recruit to your fan club but I too admire you for many of the reasons listed above. As you might know, Dee, I'm trying to live my life with a generous attitude. You are my inspiration at FV to live that way. I love your warm generous spirit and sometimes I can almost feel you smiling through your posts. Thank you for being part of the village.

Dee, it's hard for me to put into words just how much you mean to me. You've been such an inspiration to me. I cannot believe how strong you were when fighting breast cancer. I admire you immensely for that.

Then there are your many talents. I don't know many people who enjoy so many crafts and are great at all of them.

Lastly, and selfishly most important to me, is the kindness you've shown me. Never judgmental, always caring, supportive, and yes even sweet! You've picked me up on days when I didn't think I could make it through another crazy minute of this life. Seriously. You have the patience of a saint when helping me with my crochet and sewing. You're generous almost to a fault. I just love all the goodies you brought for me and my family.

We've been close for about a year now, but I feel like I've known you all my life. Thank you for being the wonderful friend that you are. I love you lots!

Awww everyone, thank you so very much.

You are all special to me, just as this village is. I am only as strong as the people around me and you my friends are what got me through my breast cancer. How could I come here and tell you I had given up? Never! I love you all!

As to my crafting, I love helping others learn something new and get excited about the things I love to do.

I'm still dealing with some health issues, but I hope to be posting more this coming winter.

BTW, I am not really as sweet as you all seem to think, just ask my mom!
