Do you ever dream....
....that you would have 3 days completely to yourself....
As much as we love our children and DH, imagine having 3 days just for you...
...what would you do?
I know I would have nothing planned and I would just follow what my heart desires....
I would probably sleep in or maybe not...
I would not be rushed about when I eat my meals...
I would relax all afternoon and even all evening on my couch or in my bed, watching some tv or reading all the magazines I wanted...
I`d go on internet as long as I want...
Ah...so many things I would do and would not do...just to be and relax...
LOL!!!
Does it show I dream of a mini vacation?
So what do you dream about doing with 3 free days to yourself????

I cannot imagine it--I had 18 hours when dh went skiing over the winter-I cleaned house, without him under my feet it took 1/2 the time. That to me was a vacation!

I can't imagine it either!! :)
I can't imagine it either!!
But if I had 3 days to myself I would have DD's room organized with all the clothes she no longer can wear gone through and put in bags to be given away or to sell!!
I would then try to work on the middle room which is our office but is mostly a junk room at this time!!
That is what I would do with 3 days to myself!!

Good question! That actually happened to me last fall for 2 days. My DH took the kids to visit his mom and they stayed over night...honestly I hardly knew what to do!!!
I just did NOTHING for the first hour or so and then did some cleaning, which took no time....then totalling rearranged the living room......went for a long walk......ate supper late and had what I really wanted.......visited a neighbour after I ate.......just a very nice, relaxing, do as I pleased day. But I must say I was missing them all so much after lunch the next day.

O, I would love to have 3 days to myself. I wouldn't rush whatsoever. I would eat when I wanted to, watch what I wanted on tv, stay on the net as long as I wanted to. I would go to town to every store that I wanted to go to, and spend as much time as I wanted to.
At night, I would rent some movies, curl up on the couch, and eat popcorn (without butter, of course!
).

Hmmmm 3 days to myself - I would hop in my van, and doing some travelling to every quilting store around a 100 miles radius. From there, I would come home, have a long, hot leisurely bath with candlelight, soft music in the background. I'd then hop in bed with a great book to read, soft candlelight and no noise!!!!!!
Awe to have 3 days to myself would be heavenly.

3 Whole days? huuuummmm, I'd get caught up with all my e-mail, import more of my recipes to cookbook wizard.
Finish my Kitchen, Try to finish my quilt.
Read a few new cataloges I have.
Deceide on how I'd like to redo my Master bedroom.
Long soaking bubble bath, Pot of Hot tea, candles, soft music.
Fill my home with a femine delicate fragrance.
Then for the rest of the time, just relax and dig in my garden

I would go to one of those silent spas and have massage a swim...there would be no phone, fax, internet....just a quiet beautiful zen hotel and a good book along with my meals cooked for me and I would pamper myself sensceless.
However if I had the opinion I would bring my DH along for the quiet retreat. His my big teddy bear how will I sleep without him?

My DH used to travel for work. He'd be gone one week out of every 5-7 months. Sometimes I would look forward to those weeks!
I would get Cosmo, Glamour, a bottle of good red wine (DH doesn't drink), a pack of smokes (I haven't smoked for 5 years, but like to have ONE ciggy with my wine.), a good book and a tub of Ben a Jerry's.
I would take the dog for a nice long walk then soak in the tub for hours. I would then make a nice steak on the grill and have whatever I wanted with it. Then as the sun went down I would sit in the back yard and have a glass of wine and a smoke while I read my book. I would finish it off by taking Ben and Jerry to bed! (DH would joke that my idea of a 'threesome' was me, Ben and Jerry-he's right!!
)
I would do that almost all week. I worked part time so I would sometimes be naughty and take a few days off just for ME. I would go to the forest preserve and watch the critters and the people. Sometimes I would just stay home and see how long I could avoid people.
And I wouldn't worry about cleaning until an hour or so before he returned!!!
Now that we have kids I would probably do the same...except I would cry myself to sleep because I would miss 'em!
