    ~a donation from the food drive at the local school for our commodities program
    ~finding good deals online today and being able to afford to get the boys things that they really want for Christmas.
    ~having a slower morning at work so I could get caught up on paperwork there
    ~leftovers for lunch (YUM)!
    ~a good night's sleep last night
    ~sunshine this morning: we enjoyed it while it lasted

    ~safe travels today (big news story here of a guy who ended up with a 280 lb. buck in the front seat of his car)

    ~peaceful passing of my dear coworker Kathy- she died last evening around 8:30 PM.

    ~lower gas prices

    ~my sister who has agreed to take my parents for their flu shots on Sat. so I can attend Kathy's funeral.
