Daily appreciations December 22nd

~our Christmas tree and the joy it brings just looking at it
~helpful neighbours
~candles burning all through the house
~a warm home
~anticipation of seeing family on the weekend
~babies smiles and kisses
~Christmas music filling our home
~hugs from dd
~sleeping in and not feeling one bit guilty!

~opportunity this morning at 2:00 for a quiet Solstice celebration at work.

~quiet night at work (no one acutely ill)

~safe drive home after being up for over 26 hours

~good sleeping today for over 4 hours

~working furnace, running water, etc.

~having countertops again and a cooktop in my kitchen (still working on that kitchen sink hookup)
~that Jaysn did not have a more serious allergic reaction to his medications
~having some fun making jingle bell necklaces with my 3 year old neighbor at Storytime today
~seeing the look of delight on people's faces as I treat them to cookies for Christmas at the library
~a beautiful sunny day
~Chris being able to drive Jaysn to his doctor's appointment since Jaysn was not feeling up to it (it's just down the street and I was at work) note: we live in a small town and Chris does not even have his permit yet but he's been driving for years and the police officers know it. This is a typical thing in a small farming community.

~knowing that Jesus gave his all for you and me
