    Default Finding joy and love in giving...

    My heart is filled with love this morning. I had to rush over here and share it with you...

    My aunt Francine is home with us since Christmas morning. I admit the first two days of her being here, I was not overjoyed, but overwhelmed with knowing of having to care for her during the holidays....

    ...but some magic just happened a few minutes ago...

    I helped her with her bath, as she is unable to do it alone. I am helping her in the bath, I start washing her hair...

    I am like in a bubble; not thinking except that I am tired....I wash her back and rinse it....she starts to get excited and laughs...

    I lather her washcloth for her and a surge of emotions comes into her. She claps her hands her together and laughs of happiness--just because I am helping her taking a simple bath....

    ...my heart starts to feel joy and love....I no longer feel tired and overwhelmed. I feel happy....I feel love...Francine's love.

    The best way to FEEL love is to give love!! If you don't like someone give them a little gift and it will often change your perception!! This is something I have encouraged the kids to do since day one!!

    I'm so happy that sharing this moment with you all, also touched your hearts.

    Yes, Carolyn, you're so right...Francine has brought me down to the essential this morning....we tend to forget in today's busy life...I know I do...Francine has probably more to teach us, than we can imagine...

    You know...somedays I get down thinking of Francine's reality, but then I realize how she has this gift to touch people's hearts...she is a real angel on earth...that's what I think.
