    Thumbs up Daily appreciations January 19th

    ~DS#1 who turns 16 today!!
    ~DS#2 who got up early this morning to shovel snow
    ~DD's big blue eyes and her smile
    ~call from my Mom
    ~finding out and talking to people about resources to help me in my healing journey
    ~baking this afternoon
    ~snow days where all my kids are home
    ~gingerbread candles
    ~the smell of supper cooking in the crockpot

    ~my sons making lunch for me so it will be ready when I get home on my lunch break
    ~finding the most adorable baby turtle origami pattern to use with my afterschool kids today!
    ~knowing that no matter what, God is in control
    ~encouragment from my friends here after a rough yesterday and start to today.
    ~my kids actually following directions and getting their schoolwork done today while I am at work (I'll check their progress on my lunch break)
    ~having a great selection of new books and videos come in for me today that I requested!
    ~having the resources of the library at my fingertips and knowing that I can read, watch and listen to lots of great stuff for free!

    Not only is it Kody's b-day, it's Joes as well

    ~My wonderful hubby on his b-day
    ~Another good Dr.s visit
    ~Paying off bills
    ~Catching the car payment up since moving (we will be back to normal payments next month)
    ~A small snow shower (I told Joe it would snow on his b-day and he didn't believe me)

    ~dual water supply (town's water main broke today and 3 towns are now without water - I have a wells/cistern with electric and hand pumps in addition to city water)

    ~finding health care equipment for my dad on clearance tonight at Shop-Ko
