The 7 wonders of the world

A group of students were asked to list what they thought to be the current "Seven Wonders Of The World". Though there seemed to be some disagreement, the following seven received the most votes:

1) The Great Pyramids of Egypt
2) The Taj Mahal
3) The Grand Canyon
4) The Panama Canal
5) The Empire State Building
6) The Great Wall Of China
7) and St. Peter's Basilica

While gathering up all the votes, the teacher noticed that one student had not finished her paper yet. She asked the young girl if she was having trouble coming up with her list. She replied
"Yes, a little, there are so many to choose from that it's hard to decided."

The teacher said, "Why don't you tell us what you have and maybe we can help you."

The girl hesitated at first and then began to read. "I think the Seven Wonders of the World are:

1) To see
2) To hear
3) To touch
4) To taste
5) To feel
6) To laugh
7) To love

The room was so quiet afterwards that you could have heard a pin drop. You see, the things we overlook as simple and ordinary
and the things we take for granted are truly wonders in theirselves.

This is just a gentle reminder that the most precious things in life cannot be built by hand or bought by man.
