    Default Housekeeping made simple

Did you know you could keep your home simple and still have it nice. And it would be easier to clean. Do you have thousands of things sitting around, that really dont add to your life but only cause frustration and wasted time of cleaning it. Well how about getting rid of it, or putting it together in a nice curio cabinet and only keeping simple everyday living things around. You will find that you have alot of useless things and you can get by on less and still enjoy life. Take this time to revaulate things, material things and see if its adding to your life or causing more work.Clean it Up!

I agree with you Lynn, my problem is that I love most of my clutter.... I'm trying very hard to pare it down though.

You can tell it is getting close to spring when we all start to have these thoughts I love my cluttter too and have been slowly wrapping it up and storing it in my plastic storage boxes. It is amazing how just two full boxes have made me feel so much better

Lynn, you've been in my house I think!

My mother swears there is a gene that is connected to the urge to pile stuff on every horizontal surface -- and I definitely got it. I hate the clutter, I try to deal with it, and it comes back. I tell myself if I was home full time it would be better but maybe not.

Actually this evening I have the perfect opportunity to get rid of some stuff. I am going to gather some items together to donate to a rummage sale to benefit the spay/neuter program of a local cat rescue organization. I think all of the odd coffee mugs that clutter my dish cupboard will definitely be going into the box of things for the sale. And a bunch of paperback books I will not be reading again.

You've been here too haven't you Lynn! My goal this spring is to eliminate and go for the minimalist look.
