What things do you find simple, yet extravagant.
I think flowers are very simple, and yet very extravagant and luxurious.
I like that they can be free, inexpensive, or expensive.

An e-card. It cost nothing yet the thought behind it can mean alot.

I think anytime someone bakes something and shares it or makes a special craft as a gift, it may be simple or inexpensive but, it is especially wonderful because the person put their time into it. Time is something so many have so little of these days.

I do agree with you on flowers. LAst fall we planted over 200 tulip bulbs and they ALL came up.
Gregg(aka hubby) picked me flowers when they came up. I said to him that he was too cheap to buy me some and his reply was. "Those flowers cost me 80thousand dollars" That is what we paid for our house. I got a good laugh out of that and loved the flowers. I had them all over the house.

Flowers, ecards, chocolates, anything made by my children (not because of what it is but because they took the time to make it for ME)
