That is true.
Our schools here are trying to teach affection and such to the kids. So they are asked each day before they leave if they want a kind word, kind touch (hug) or a smile or all 3.
It is believed that if they teach these kind of things, children will be less likely to go to drugs, alcohol, hatred and violence in later years.
