Question What are the sounds of fall you enjoy so much?

~farmer's harvesting - I love the sounds of all the big machines.
    ~Canada geese honking
    ~wind blowing
    ~leaves rustling
~the train whistles - for some reason the sounds change when the cooler temps come.
~the sound of walking through leaves

I'm sure there is more, this is all I could think of right now. You?

I live directly above the Columbia River; and all winter long when it is foggy in the early mornings, the barges are blowing their fog horns. That is the coolest sound in the world.

    i love the crunchy leaves.
the sound of fires crackling (instead of getting tons of leaf burning permits, our neighborhood piles them in one yard and we have a bonfire).
hearing the late-night trains in the fog .. we never hear them in the summer, only in the fall.
the sound of my neighbor grumping and groaning as he puts away his very loud motorcycle for the season. LOL.
