What did you give away in October?
We have a wonderful thread in Frugal Tips about what we got free during the month. Simple Living is about balance and generosity so I've been wondering what is being given to others as well as received.
DH and I donated a gift basket to the local school this month. I've also given away my homemade tomato relish and strawberry jam, and I invited a single woman who has just moved in down the street to come and collect some plant cuttings from my garden so she can build up her very sparse garden. Yesterday I gave some eggs and homegrown lettuces to my next door nieghbour.
I know you're a generous lot, so who else wants to add to this list?

This is a great thread! We donted embroidered hats to our school's harvest festival for the auction. I gave bags of outgrown children's clothing to a couple of friends. Took a bag of toys to Goodwill. I'm in a cleaning out mood, so there's more to come!
