Kookaburra outside our caravan (Trailer)
I took this pic a couple of weeks ago of a kookaburra sitting in a tree outside our caravan (Trailer.) There have been lots of them around this year, all laughing like crazy!

I just said to Jim...don't you remember that old song " Kookaburra sitting in the old Gum tree"...he remembered!

I learned that song, too. I've been teaching it to Isabel. Thanks for sharing the picture! I must admit I had no idea what a kookaburra actually looked like.

They're about 16-18 inches long Liz.
I'm really suprised to know that you people in the US know this song, I'd never heard of it until we came here and my son learnt it at school!
