    Interesting! I had Christmas last year at my house for my inlaws, and I used the fine china. I also used my everyday dishes the rest of the time. They commented why I didn't use paper plates, cups, but I told them they all cost money and I had nice dishes that I wanted to use. Besides, I had a dishwasher. I didn't use the dishwasher for the fine china, but I thought why have nice stuff unless you use it. They all thought I was nuts!
