    Default Saving Sunday

Okay, my absolute, TOP priority for getting done today is these research reports that don't seem to be grading themselves on top of my entertainment center! So, I'll need to work on those throughout the day. However, the house also does not take care of itself, so since dh and dd are still sleeping, I've done nothing yet. But I'm about to get them up and shuffle them off to church. Then, the house is mine and I will:

run the dishwasher and put everything away
clean the shower (while I'm in it...time management!)
sweep and vacuum (I swear that my dog is trying to grow a friend with all the hair he leaves around this place!)
    dd's laundry
    dh's and my laundry
clean off the top of the entertainment center
clean off the top of the computer desk
    clean off the kitchen counters
Go grocery shopping (We did so well with the triple coupons the past 2 weeks that I really only need milk, meat, and veggies)
    GRADE THESE PAPERS!!!

    I can do it...I know I can!

Good luck, Amy! Today has been pretty quiet around here. I am just hanging out on the computer, DD is watching Pokemon, and DH is at his Platoon Sgts house. So that's it!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Last night at the fall carnival at school, my MIL won a $100.00 GC to Wal-mart! I was happy for her because she really needed it. She spent $1.00 and made $99.00! My boys only won 8 2liter cokes, 6 can cokes, 5 goldfish, and too much candy!

    Have a great Sunday!!

It's quiet, damp and gloomy here. DH is gone for the better part of the day to play softball. DD's started cleaning the basement, so I guess that's what I'll be doing today. Already bagged up 3 bags of TRASH to be decluttered. Games with no pieces, ratty doll clothes, Barbie things beyond repair. Hopefully I can get DD1's drumset set back up after I vacuum and maybe see what cookbooks I have to get rid of.

On a happy note, DH friend does house cleanouts and is GIVING me 3 boxes of cookbooks! Woo Hoo! Like I need more cookbooks! I have about 500 of them now.

    Have a great day!

Good morning everyone. It looks like a sunny but cool day. We still have snow on the ground - hopefully that doesn't mean its here to stay, even if I do love snow.

Today as usual for the past few weeks I will be painting crafts. By the time the craft sales are over, I never want to see another angel again.

    - I also need to wash another load of fat quarters and quilting material.

    - need to vaccum also.

Hope everyone has a nice and relaxed Sunday.

Good day ladies. Hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday. I have to work today, so won't be much relaxing here. Hopefully, we won't be too busy.

I have to go to BigK, and WM to pay on my lay-a-ways today. And, I will pick up a few things there. I will probably go to grocery shopping tomorrow.

    Have a great day!

It's a rainy Sunday here........a good day to stay in!

There were NO coupons in my newspaper today, I don't know
why. I usually clip coupons on Sunday afternoon's but..............

I'm just taking it easy this afternoon as the house if pretty much
in order. I did have to run to Walmart but I didn't spend too
much so we are doing ok budget-wise for now.

Hope everyone has a good remainder the weekend.

Ladies, I am soooo envious! Snow! You are so lucky. Here in SC we're lucky to see snow with significant accumulations (3-4 inches) once or twice a year and then it is usually between January and March. I bet it is beautiful there! Sherry, I'd love to come visit -- snow AND the Mall of America! WOW!

We took both boys to the pumpkin patch today and went through the hay and corn mazes. We watched the pig races and the goats ran a race too! We bought some chicken and jo jos to go and had that, so that wasn't frugal. HOWEVER, when we were there, my sister (who works in the deli) told me there was .59/lb marked down hamburger! I got three packs and shared with my friend Jennifer (the one with the four kids and no money) and my other friend, Laura (also a single mom). There were also coupons on the Turning Leaf wine dispaly for 1.00 off deli items and another for 1.00 off bread, so I got free bread and cheaper chicken (it paid for 2/3 of the hamburger!).

I treid to take a nap, but the kids were running in and out of the house, slamming the door, so I basically yelled at the kids with my eyes shut. Laura stopped by for her hamburger and Gypsy snuck up and washed my face several times and then my friend, Jennifer (yep, the same one!) called, so I gave up and got up. DS #1 and I took Gypsy for a walk and we all had weird stuff for dinner since nobody felt like a full meal. I had a yogurt and grapes!
