    Smile Simple slow Sunday

Good day everyone! Hope everyone is doing good today. It is a calm, peaceful day here. Dh is still on his weekend hunting trip, but will be back sometime tonight. I have really missed him this weekend.

I have to work today, so I am trying to rest for that. Tomorrow is supposed to be my day off, but I may be called in, because one of the girls got put in jail last night. If so, I will have worked 11 days straight come Friday. I will be really tired.

Should be a frugal day here. I plan on spending no money, except for a newspaper maybe.

    Simple day for us too..

we might go out for breakfast ..well we wanted to lastnight, but right now I feel like making it instead ..

Not a exciting day for coupons since the store coupons wording is suddenly changed, i might not be able to combine those with manf. coupons at my store anymore that used to be the funnest part too!

Lots of housecleaning to catch up on, and I'll be cooking a lot today since I have the time to do it

I hope I can also jog and tan today as well..

Oh and I'll be doing a fairly big grocery trip..not so big as in how much stuff I'll be getting but big as in expensive
Cokes aren't on sale anywhere that i know of yet..and I am craving so many things that i don't even have a coupon for

I think its a hanging out and relaxing Sunday for Tyler and I.

Tyler's cousin, Carol is down here to play for awhile... he is loving that. I am just surfing for crafts while she has him entertained.

Probably more work on the craft/woodworking area today. I haven't been helping much lately with this tooth throbbing everytime I move.

My tooth is feeling better today... I went upstairs for breakfast and Dave's mom said "Whoa your face is swollen." LOL
So thats probably why it feels a little better.

Hope you all have a relaxing Sunday!

    Happy Birthday, Deb!

Good morning! It is suppose to rain here again today.

Last night, the phone rang at 11:30 and it was some friends who were in a car accident. They said someone ran the off the road, but they are ok. They said we are right up the street from your house. I looked outside and could see the lights to their car shining, so I went up there. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. I would like to crawl back in bed. Just thankful they were alright. It could have been worse and they had their 2 sons with them.

    List for today:
    make beds *done
    make DH lunch *done
    Clip coupons *done
    File coupons
    update cashin program
    laundry *working on it!!!
organize my bedroom which some how has become cluttered!
Need to run to Walgreens for some deals and to KMart! *done

Hope you have a great day!

Hi ladies. First on the agenda is to get off the computer! I need to dust, badly. DH put away his matchbox!!!! Hurray! Also have to do laundry and maybe work on the church cookbook. We stayed home from church. Our pastor is away and I don't care for the guy that was preaching today. I've heard him before and was far from impressed. So we played hooky.

DH is playing softball. Other than that, maybe make some caramel apples....YUM!

    Good morning!

Yesterday I reorganized my closet and all my dresser drawers. I have a bag of things to take to the Goodwill when I go shopping there on Wednesday for the end-of-the-month sales. LOL

It is funny that I donate stuff to the same place I buy stuff.

    Today I need to:

    Shower & get dressed
    Clean dinner dishes
Meet my Dad for lunch, get his CHOC donation
    Finish laundry
    Get gas for car
    Pull out something for dinner
Dryel my new suit from Goodwill! Can't wait to wear it!
Clip coupons (I keep putting this off)

Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Good morning, all! Well, although it was great that dd slept in, it also meant that she did not go to church with dh this morning. So, my "me" time for cleaning didn't get done. So, I've got a full schedule today.

    So far I've:
    started full dishwasher
    clipped 1/2 coupons
made (free) cinammon buns for breakfast
gotten 3 upc trades ready to be mailed (just awaiting addresses)

    Still Need to:
do all laundry (never actually got to it the other day)
Go to Target for free cokes
Go to Eckerd for diapers (so much cheaper there when combining manufacturers coupons with Eckerd coupons!)
Go grocery shopping (just need milk, meat, and produce)
    sweep and vacuum
finish clipping coupons and organize them (this can be done while watching tv tonight after dd goes to bed)
change sheets on our bed and dd's crib

I am extremely lazy today...I've got a really bad headache and will probably go take a nap to try to get rid of it. Dave is taking the kids to my fil's, so it should be peaceful for a while.

I did start rearranging furniture earlier and put away some laundry, so I did get a little done today....

I'm going to be looking for a new job.

There aren't many good ones to be had right now either.

    Wish me luck!

AmyBoz, thank you! I was reading your post about Eckerd's taking both man. and their coupon and decided I would call and ask the closest one to me and they said yep, they sure do!! I knew Walgreen's did and now I will start scoping out the Eckerd's ad more closely!!!!
