Default Chilly Sunday, what's going on?

We haven't had too much this weekend since we did everything we needed to do last weekend.

Sunday is proving to be much of the same. Other than grocery shopping, I have at least one more load of laundry to wash and fold. After that last load, I'll put it all away. I have some coats to put into a plastic storage bag for under the bed. I have a box of baby clothes to go through and do the same thing with. Once that's all done, I'll be flattening the rest of the boxes and finally taking all of my stockpile goods downstairs.

I'm saving the book editing of the last chapter for tomorrow night. I may add another chapter, thus creating more work for myself before the 1st.

    So what's on your list?

My biggest project is to hem my grandson and daughters jeans. I have a least 15 pair of jeans that they need hemmed. Most were giving to them and it's an inexpensive way to help out right now. So, that's first. Then, declutter my room and purge, purge, purge.

    I have a head cold...

someone is coming over - They have asked me to drape and pattern a wedding dress from scratch at 2. thank goodness i don't have to sew it.
    11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

We ran errands yesterday so I don't have to go anywhere today.

I want to finish the edging on this afghan and start a new one. I also need to work on laundry.

I might bake and I really need to make some applesauce.

    That's my thrilling day

Nothing on the schedule, I may do some baking or not. At some point today I'll go and visit my dad. I don't really have plans for most Sundays.

Its raining like crazy here this morning, its a nice change from all the snow and cold we have had. Hope it doesn't change over to snow now, I hate it when it does that. Its a lazy day today, I just want to curl up with a book, in a nice warm blanket and listen to the peacefulness of the rain! Rain always has a way of making me feel relaxed and less stress. I know it will be a mess to do chores this morning, nothing like skating around in the corrals to feed the critters when its raining like this. Look out for MUDDY boots today. I know it means a ton of mud, and with the dogs going in and out it will be "clean the prints" all day long.
Nothing a good footbath won't stop.......the dogs know the bucket routine well. Guess I better stop rattling on and get something out for dinner. Besides that I need more coffee to finish reading the new post here.
    Have a great day everyone!

It's -14F here this morning, but beautifully sunny. I slept in this morning until about 7:30. I will be doing laundry, dishes and tidying up this morning, setting out clothes for the kids for the school week, cleaning my room and the bathroom. At a little after noon I will be heading out to get oil put in my vehicle as the light is on, then going to work. I will get out of work about ten o'clock tonight and home about 10:30 so I'll be going to bed as soon I get home.

I would love to sew an apron I've had plans for, or even bake but.....

    1. Need to change the bed linens.

    2. Sort thru all the junk in the spare bedroom and pack what we want to keep, freecycle the rest.

    3. Basically spend most of the day packing and getting things ready to go into the storage unit.

    4. Figure out something for supper.

    5. Think about 'giving in' once again to DH over yesterday's arguement.

That's enough to keep me busy.

Not a whole lot on the agenda for me today. We are under a winter storm watch thru Wed. am so will be preparing for that. Need to catch up on expenses and my goal journal. Pretty much being lazy and enjoying my day off.

    Let's see:
I also need to wash one more load of laundry.

I've got a loaf of banana bread in the oven, waiting for to come out.

I'm getting ready to throw some chicken breasts in the crockpot in order to fix some chicken soft tacos for dinner.

Oh & I also need to sweep & mop the kitchen floor.

Then I'm gonna veg. out the rest of the day and watch some movies we just got yesterday from Netflix.

I decided to come into work for a few hours. I have a project I'm trying to get done, plus I get paid overtime and I sure could use the money. When I get home I'll do a couple of loads of laundry, I want to bake some cookies and hopefully get a short nap in.

    Back to work...
