    Default Sunday 4/12

I will be enjoying the beautiful sunshine today. We are staying home for Easter dinner. I'm fixing a turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, and green beans. I had planned to gut our bedroom and clean it since we are hardly ever home at the same time so I can have help moving the furniture out, but I spent most of the day yesterday scrubbing our 2 bathrooms and the laundry hallway and that is good enough for now. I just want to enjoy time together. No special plans.

Really no plans here. Just me and my boys...So I'll be making a ham dinner, with mashed potatoes and carrots...fresh baked homemade bread. And still thinking about dessert. I'm thinking some easy cookies or something. Plus I think I'll be doing some cleaning around the house as well. It's a beautiful sunny day here as well...a little chilly right now(30F) but the sky is blue no clouds in sight! Hope everyone has a happy easter!

Today it is supposed to be rainy and a little chilly. Just going to tidy the house, do some deep cleaning on the office/craft room and knit later today to NCIS marathon.

    Smile Happy Easter!!

Today will be another home day for us. I finished 7 dresses yesterday to the point of fitting. Today I need to create the gown for a fitting at 1 PM, then work on another 7 dresses....just humming along with my sewing machine!!

DH will be working on soccer stuff - section meeting coming up. He'll cook dinner - ham and goodies.

Peaceful, calm, Easter calls to family - sounds good to me!!

DD has gone to see "Wicked" with my mom while DS and DH are cutting some yards today. This leaves me to a quiet, empty house. I have been enjoying my "me" time.

This morning DH hung rack in the laundry room to hold all of my purses (I have around 50 of them). I spent a little time organizing my purses on the rack and I love it!!! They are all easy for me to access and see.

For the rest of the day I think I will just grab a bite to eat and maybe take a nap with my dogs. Oh, and I am sure the two cats will join us as well.

    Happy Easter

Ate dinner at my sil's today. I brought a cake, and my sil served pork roast, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, and rolls.

Had a good phone call with my mother this morning. Now I'm just surfing along on here, and Dave is watching a movie.

We had a nice Easter. Went to church this morning, then went to SIL's parents for a family dinner. It was rainy, so the kids had an egg hunt in the house. I came home and did laundry, swept out the kitchen and did my workout. I am getting ready to do the home spa routine,I have big plans on getting to bed early. I want to catch up on my sleep a little. Hope you had a wonderful holiday.

Love reading all the posts about family and friends getting together for Easter!! The peacefulness of it all comes through loud and clear - even though I'm also sure there was plenty of laughter too!!

My easter consisted of going to my best friends house and making authentic japanese/asian cuisine since we were both craving it. I even got to help with the preperation which was extremely fun. Her sister also joined in and we made: Inata which is: Gohan (rice) stuffed in tofu skin it's slightly sweet, Sushi, Chicken Stir Fry, Beef Pot Stickers, and then we decided to make some sweet stickers like we like to call them. We made some pot sticker skins and then added some cherries (instead of like beef/pork/chicken etc) fold & crimp, eggwash, dust with cinnamon/sugar and then bake. It was very delicious. Tasted just like a McDonald's pie but cheaper, tastier, and sooo much better!!
