Simple Sunday 4/19
Happy Easter.....again. I bet you thought I lost my marbles for a second, didn't you?
We are celebrating Easter with Dave's father, stepmother, sister, and maybe stepsis & family. Last weekend (on the real Easter, we were with Dave's mother).
So I'll be making a dessert to bring. We will be leaving here around 11ish, stopping at Sam's on the way. My fil has an Easter egg hunt planned for Kathryn, Lauren, and Kathryn's friend.
I didn't sleep well last night, so I'm dragging a bit today. I need to finish getting ready, get the kids moving, and hopefully put together another porch table & chair before we go.
I'm sure I'll be wiped out by the time we get home, but I'll do a bit of general cleaning and then call it a day.
Have a good one everyone!

I have been in a blah, unmotivated mood all week. So, today is the beginning of a new week, and I need to get motivated. DH and DS are fishing, DD is still asleep, and it is raining. (not very motivating weather)
So far today I have:
-started laundry
-beef roast is in the crockpot
-loaded the dishwasher and wiped down counters
-coffee and fv'ing
Plan to do today:
-finish the laundry (about 4 loads)
-bake some bread
-figure out what I am going to have with the beef roast
-finish last week's DR podcasts while I do some cleaning
-go to the office and get charts ready for the upcoming week
-bake a cakeDJ

Married to DH since 1993

DD age 16
DS age 14

Good morning. Today I plan to:
1) Go to Safeway and do some grocery shopping.
2) Go to Rite Aid to get pull ups and a few other sale items.
3) Clean up my toddler's room and gather old clothes and toys for Goodwill.
4) Have my 9 yo clean her room. I will go through her closet and donate stuff (a teacher at her school asked for her old clothing).
5) Start chicken breasts in the crockpot so I can make chicken enchiladas tonight for dinner.

Today is grocery shopping day! Once the headache goes away, I'll be able to beat people off with a cart to get the best deals. My list isn't even all that big but the earlier I get there, the less people I have to deal with.
Today's list of things to do:
Grocery shopping
Laundry
Vacuum
Go to the gym
Make dinner
It's pretty simple.
Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

I have done squat all day! Literally -- nothing! I seperated the meats we purchased yesterday into baggies and froze them, and got dressed. That's about it. Man, I really gotta get moving. Oh, and I grated up a buncha mozzarella cheese.
My best friend and I are supposed to get together today at some point, so I have to do some tidying up before she arrives. I also have to have some lunch and prep some supper.
My beloved is working on the tail-end of his final assignment for school -- everyone start praying, he's got a few days left and then we find out our fate, if he did well enough to pass this year. *gulp*

Have a great Sunday - give yourself a hug for all you do!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
