    Default Sunday 4/26

Doing some cleaning while I'm alone. I hung one load of clothes and have another to go. I have to dust and run sweeper in living room. My windows are open and a nice breeze is cooling the house. No lights on with that gorgeous sun shining. I'm fixing bbq ribs, cheesy potatoes, and cole slaw and cheese cake for dinner. I think I'll drag my garden decorations and pots out later and start planning how to decorate my flower beds.

    Smile Simple Sunday 4/26

It's HOT here again--unseasonably. I don't mind it, but it's funny how I want to do all these things that I really can't do when it's this hot (e.g. baking, going up to the attic for things, etc).

So far I've folded 2 loads of laundry and washed one. Emptied & loaded the dishwasher, and finished reading my book.

Later today I hope to finish putting the porch chairs together, and maybe start the kids summer pj's. I need to figure out what size they need first.

Hope everyone has a great, relaxing day.

It's a Lazy Sunday here today! I'll be trying to catch up on some laundry, clean up my kitchen, and hopefully get around to cleaning my bathroom. Then we will head to the YMCA for some workouts and swimming. It's another gorgeous day here...windows are open and the breeze is blowing through! I love it!

I'm at work, itching to go yarn shopping and fantasizing about the all afghans I could make.

As for work, I'm behind on on my electronic journal link checking for the week so I need a spend good chunk of time on that tedious task. When I finish playing around here. Dull day. We've been open half an hour and only three people are here.

    After work, reading.

I am stopping for a lunch break. What a beautiful day. More sunshine.Went to early Mass this morning. Came home, did a quick house pick up and I have been powerwashing the garage and cleaning the windows. Still want to clean the bathroom out there if I have time. Poor DH is stuck out playing golf. Very sad. LOL.Later will go to the gym to do weights. Supper, then bath. Manicure, pedicure, facial. Getting ready for the new week ahead. Hope you have a great day!

The mani/pedi/facial sounds really good....I wish I had the energy to do that for myself. Maybe I'll do a facial mask tonight! That's as close to a real facial as I get! I did a pedi on myself last week...and it's holding up pretty good...Maybe I'll try and paint my nails later...so busy cleaning and all that it might just be pointless!!

I feel like I've been running all weekend

This morning dh & I took the boys for haircuts. This afternoon I took dd14 for a haircut at the mall. Now I'm home & "relaxing" in between folding laundry.

Other than laundry, I'm just knitting & making dinner.

I got sleep in today! Hubby had last night off, so he was up with the kids. My nephew stayed the night, so he and DS had a huge Lego mess going on. We took my nephew home a little while ago. So far today I got some dehydrating done, watered my seedlings, did some light cleaning. I a getting ready for dinner, then I need to make my sister a birthday cake for tomorrow.

We had an enormous storm here yesterday complete w/ many people out of power.Tons of pine and older trees on the ground and many on wires. We got lucky but have been out of internet/cable/phone for 2 days now. Prob. no school. Glad my hubby was home for this one. The rain came down so hard everything is flooded. I was driving home when the winds hit and I could barely keep the road. It was raining so hard I couldn't see. The wind was blowing the water into the sky directly off the lake. I thought I was in a tornado but we did not hear that. Later we had 1" hail but it melted almost immediately. It has rained on and off all day today in sudden heavy bursts. I'll never get a garden prepped at this rate. Very weird weather here lately. Hope for better tommorrow.

It's a lazy Sunday here. Went to church this am, when we got home I quickly made some Beef and Cheesy Tacos...it was more like a dip with black bean tortilla chips and we had a salad with it. It was pretty good.

This afternoon I am doing laundry. Couple more loads to go. I enjoy doing laundry so I'm fine with it. I enjoy seeing the clean clothes and folding them.

It's a pretty day...slightly cool and was cloudy but the sun is shining right now. I checked my roses and sprayed them a little bit but the plants are doing well.

Stopped to read my Bible and pray for a while.

Otherwise, just responding to emails, visiting message boards/forums and enteriong sweepstakes. What a life!

Love the hotel we stayed in this weekend on Waikiki Beach. Great beds for sleeping!! Had continental breakfast at hotel and went to another session - new computer system coming up, talked with old and new soccer friends. Had lunch with the Section staff and talked about soccer tournament in July - should be fun!!

Home via plane, then 1 hour drive. DH is making breakfast for dinner!! Then showering, hair washing and prepping for bed.

Fun filled weekend - ate too much - laughed a lot and enjoyed all the good people.

Now on to tomorrow with a smile!!
