Simple Sunday

Good morning! I am officially sick!

I have a head cold.

Oh well, I'll try to just push through today and hopefully I'll feel better.

Today DH and I are going to go work on our trailer. We are putting in carpet, cleaning, etc. We need it to be ready before next weekend when we leave for Glamis.

I also need to finish laundry today. Hope you all have a great day!

It's really gross out here today--snow, sleet, rain...ick...so we won't be leaving the house until we take Kathryn to a birthday party.

I'm working on my craft room, trading for coupons, and just cleaning up a bit around here.

Today should be a laid back day here. I have work this evening, but that isn't until 4:30. I have been enjoying going to work, and getting out of the house!

I have some laundy to go, and some light grocery shopping. I also plan to do some baking.

Just a cleaning day for me although I am getting around to a very slow start. Betsy that's a lot of work to do when your sick!! Hope everyone has a great day.

Hope everyone is feeling better today.

After I returned from church, I anxiously went through the newspaper for coupons & there were none in my paper.
As far as ads go, I only had a Rite Aid & a Michael's insert.
I was going to clip coupons & make a shopping list this afternoon but so much for that.

I may wrap some Christmas presents instead.

I need to leave about 4:00 to go back to church to help with a
dinner tonight.

No major chores today.........yipee!

Good afternoon! I'm watching the race, Tony Stewart may clinch the title today! Woo Hoo! DH is not happy about that, lol.

Today DH and I went to breakfast for a mystery shop and I played hooky from church. I've been doing laundry and cleaning up.

DD's made candles with kit they have, anything to stop the fighting! DD1 is PMS'ing-driving us all nuts!

I tried to trade for some coupons you know where, and got either no replies or refusals because I don't have wine tags. I am so done with that site :evil:

Hopefully someone here has what I need, now that I can post again.

Have a wonderful day! It's yucky here, main reason I didn't go to church. And on a non-frugal note, we finally broke down and bought a camcorder. DH and I will use it as our gift for Christmas. We're missing so much with the kids by not having one. We got a good deal though!

haven't done much in the house...
Took the kids to see Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets last night...I couldn't believe it was at the $3.50 movie theater already !!!! It was a cute movie....
Not feeling so good.... I feel something yucky coming on......

I am just doing laundry. surfing arund and doing 5 min spurts on my kitchen and pc areas.
I try to take it easy on Sunday as Mon and Tues are extra long days!

Sent dh off to work

I have done a buch of laundry (more to go!) and we spent the day at DH's work so he could work on his own car. He was so hoping to get rid of this car before he had to do a timing belt again--NOT. Since he's in grad school, the Subaru will have to last a couple of more years. He wants another Subaru--an Outback wagon this time. This one (a 92 Loyale wagon) has been a true workhorse for us!

We came home to make homemade burritos out of leftover pork roast and DH and DSs are crashed on the couch watching TV. Me and the Simpsons? Nope--me for the compter!

Today was a productive and frugal day since we didn't spend any $ shopping (only paid bills) and got several projects done..

I accomplished/did

66 min. step aerobic
clipped coupons
Cleaned living room/vacuumed
Did load of dishes
Made pancake breakfast
Watched a movie at home with the family
CLEARED OFF THE TABLE

This has been messy since halloween!
Put away clean clothes
Played a lot with ayla
Took video of her at the computer 'typing' and later 'dancing' to music
surfed online
(DH finally hung a new framed picture of ayla in our bedroom, and a couple other things he'd needed to get done)

I still need to:
Finish putting away more clothes
and...make my shopping list

And my HUGE long term goal is to put away all my cut loose coupons
