    Default Simple Sunday 7/5/09

    What are you doing today?

    I am crocheting and doing laundry. I'm also making a list of what I want to accomplish this week. Hub and I took a brief trip out to restock his See's candy stash. (I've burned out, loong ago.)

    It is very hot and the humidty is waaaay up there. I hope everyone had a safe 4th of July.

    We went to church this morning.
    In the afternoon the church held a bond burning luncheon. Our church just finished paying off the bond they took out about 15 years ago to expand the building. They are now debt free!
    We are staying home and relaxing the rest of the afternoon and evening.

    Staying home today catching up a little on chores. My FIL is still in the hospital and we've been spending a lot of time there, so it's nice to have a little break today.

    Planning to barbeque tonight. I'm looking forward to having a good home cooked meal with just me and dh.

    We are home from the lake. Had a wonderful weekend with friends. I am unpacking and putting things away, doing a couple loads of laundry. Then off to take a good long soak and do my Sunday night pamper- nails, facial etc.Prepare for a great new week to come.Happy Sunday to all!

    DH is asleep and I'm just kind of lounging around. Went to CVS early this morning to snag some of the free deals that they had. I haven't "couponed" in quite a few months but with the way things are, I'm not surprised at how slim the picking were in both the CVS and Wag circulars. Was going to head over the half priced books but have decided to wait and go to the library tomorrow instead. Every little bit helps!

    Today I weeded the garden and flowerbed, planted a free rhubarb plant, took care of the ducks, cooked dinner and did dishes, swept floors, picked scrap in the yard, knitted a dishcloth, mowed 3 acres and now I am relaxing!
