My Sunday started with a cup of coffee with DH in the garden! What a blessing. Then we ran up to Lowes for some potting soil and a can of spray paint. I've got a beef brisket in the crockpot. I think the rest of the day will be spent repairing a quilt and laying out a few more sewing projects.
    Quiet day around the homestead.

Hi Laurie! DH and I had coffee out on the lanai! LOL

I have a beef roast in the crockpot. Today will entail some laundry, empty dishwasher, light housework... Have a good day everyone!

Lets see....I did the dishes, watched some TV, had beef roast for lunch. Dh's mom brought over the roast. It was ready to put in the oven. It was good and a nice gesture.

I have Slow Cooked Southwest Chicken in the crockpot cooking for dinner tonight. I'm going to watch Big Brother tonight also. Other than that, I have nothing else planned for today.

Shortly I am heading back to school to put another coat of paint on the shelves and cubbies - and do so more straightening up.

Just spent an hour on the phone with DD - she had a very long day yesterday that didn't end until 11 AM her time this morning. She ended up last night after a day of hula with a friend with a sick dog - ended up at two vets and finally the dog needed to be put to sleep - very hard on her friend - glad she was there for him - she has a very level head. Life's lessons are usually never easy.

Really want some me time at home today -so better get going!!

    Have a lovely Sunday all!!

DH and I went to Publix to purchase our Sunday papers, fairly decent coupon day.

We went to CVS to get the school supplies that are free after ECB.

Went back to Publix for this week's sales, specials and penny item.

Watching the race - my man won the pole and is having a great race!!!

Dh made sloppy Joes for lunch.

The kids are doing laundry, dishes, litter box, and all of the other chores related to the dogs and cats.

After the race going to ump in the pool and relax for a while.

Not sure what we are making for dinner, yet.

Big Brother then call it a night.

Have a safe and happy day, y'all!!!

Planning on pasta and veggies for supper tonight. Washing some dishes, and will unload them later. Going to nap some (my medications keep me so sleepy ). Thinking of decluttering the house some. Need to vacuum the bedroom. Once Dh comes home I'm going to wash our blankets. Oh, and make some decaf tea.

Deeped cleaned both bathrooms, swept floors, made a dozen jars of watermelon jelly, did dishes, put dinner in the crockpot, picked scrap outside for a while, weeded flowerbed, now just taking a break. Once my tummy settles down I need to go for a bike ride, clean duck house out and put in new bedding, feed ducks, move a wild black eyed susan bush to flower bed, get camping supplies ready, make dinner.

We went to church this morning.
It is my DH's birthday, so we decided to go to Red Robin for lunch and use his Birthday coupon (free meal on your b-day).
We go there and ordered sodas and the power went out. We ended up with free drinks, but had to leave. We then went across town to IHOP for lunch. We will try Red Robin later in the week.
There is nothing planned for the rest of day.

We just got back last night from a 3 day trip to St. Louis which involved 2 days of Six Flags. So today, I slept in. Then we had breakfast, cleaned out my car and vacuumed it, did a couple of loads of laundry, and gave the dog a bath.

DH is going to fry fish for supper, then it's time for a shower and watching Big Brother. I also plan on starting the book I just got, The Help.

Change of plans for my Sunday - DH convinced me to stay home and recover from all the work yesterday - he's right again!! Really cannot push it two days in a row.

so I'm playing at home - am crocheting more scrubbies, found a place to hang a wall hanging my DA made our daughter over 20 years ago.

Laundry is busy working away - I need to prewash some flour sack towels that just arrived yesterday so I can work on some more Christmas gifts.

Figure if I just piddle around slowly and rest inbetween that I can have a lovely day!!

    Hope yours is too!!

Well I went to Walmart with my DD and Mom to get DD some jeans for school. She found a cute pair for 12.00 so that was good . Got a few grocery items and left there. Ran our stuff home and took my Mom to Kohls to pick out her birthday gift. She found a perfect nightgown for 17.00 and now that chore is all done. DH made chili dogs while I was gone so I didnt have to cook. I have a wicked bad sinus headache and sore throat now so I am gonna slip my pj's on and settle in with a book until time for Big Brother.
