Simple Sunday 10/18
Good morning!!! It's such a pretty autumn day here in central Indiana, amazingly blue sky, gorgeous trees - thank you Lord!!
I've made broccoli salad for today's dinner and showered so far.
Church
Sunday meal with DD#1
Work on lesson plans
NAP!!!
Plan out my chemistry and anatomy labs for Tuesday, print out a lab record for it
Work 10p-6a with my favorite client
That's enough!! We try very hard not to spend money on Sunday, no eating out or shopping. I mean, the Day of Rest is exactly that if we will just let it be that!!

I'm kinda down for the count today, however, we are having one of dd's friends over so no staying in bed all day.

So, instead, I'll:
do laundry
make cookies
clip coupons
read
I've already sent dh to ShopRite after church, so the grocery shopping will be done.
Then, we're taking my Dad out to dinner for his birthday.
Then, I'm going to bed and I'll see you in the morning!

Goodness! Finally saw some sunshine this morning. Frost was on the ground which means my okra, peppers and tomatoes are toast and I will need to pull them and put them on the compost heap this week.
Made it to church and back already. Set up DGS's baptism for Nov 1. I am excited and a little concerned. DS2 (foster son) will be inviting his family to it. I doubt anyone will show but his grandfather as it will be at 8 in the morning. Hope he doesn't get told they will show and then they don't (happens 98% of the time that way).
I have to work so we are having leftovers for lunch. I set out gr. meat and will be making onion burgers for dinner.
Still need to do the budget for November but that is the only other thing on my to-do list.

It is gray and cold in maine today with rain coming this afternoon. So i have put in my second load of laundry, unloaded dishwasher and washed dishes. I need to make chilli, cut coupons and figure out what i am going to make for my mother for Christmas and i want to get back to my book. Enjoy your day

I slept in late this morning
Woke up to the sounds of rain
Had LOTS of coffee
Pulled out my project
and THAT is my day -- so far
The rest of the day depends on how motivated I feel, I am claiming today as a ME day, the Old Man is in the kitchen making brunch right now, the Diva will be back from her visit with her Dad after dinner.
Monday is just around the corner...

It is another cold, rainey, and windy day here. Luckily all the house cleaning is done. Got up and walked to the convience store to pick up a newspaper. Got to get those coupons. Only to realize when I get home that the coupons are not a complete set. Oh, well, I tried.
Since it was so cold, I just heated up some leftover soup and veggies for breakfast. Not what I would normally eat, but wanted to eat up what I have.
Made grocery list for tomorrow.
Today is a really good nap day. Still debating about that. Need to do some reading. But all in all it is a slow going day today.

slept in... til 9:30
(it is nice that we can do this since we have been going to Saturday night church). Have been doing laundry, & now have 3 loaves of banana bread in the oven (found out we were out of butter... we're NEVER out of butter! so DH went to the store to get some & also brought back home sandwich fixins). Made a smoothie to share with the boys (DH, DS & DS' friend).... & have played of face book... So far that's the extent of my doings...
Tonight we are going to my MIL's for dinner; going thru coupons; ads etc. Will be cleaning up our bedroom & taking a shower...but that will be IT! lol... we are all about relaxing today, esp as tomorrow will be insane!

Sunday's almost over here.
Today is my youngest dd's 15th birthday
We're having a little party with pie later this evening. She's like her mother....not a big cake person.
We got a lot done around the house today. Dh & the boys cleaned the boys' rooms & bathroom. The girls each cleaned up their rooms & bathroom. I decluttered the dining room, kitchen, & living room. Folded & put away laundry. Made the bed. Washed/dried more laundry. Made dinner. Washed dishes.
Now we're just waiting for my parents to get here

A bit late posting here, but I've been busy doing nothing all day.
Normally I would be at work, but yesterday was my last weekend day to work. I'm back to M-F 8-4. I'll miss the overtime. We slept in until 9, went to get newspapers, grabbed some tacos and came home to watch football games. We took the air conditioners out of the windows and stored them away, did a load of laundry which I need to fold and put away. Nothing planned other than more football and sleep.

I went to the early service this morning (felt guilty for being SO sleepy through out the service)
Packed a lunch and snacks to take with me today
Went to work at my booth at the craft show - did way better today than yesterday
Vegged on the couch and playing on the computer while I wait for the girls to get home from Dad's
I feel kinda yucky so I will go to bed early tonight

Wanted to add something bizarre that I saw.In Missouri, armadillos appear to be born full grown, and dead beside the road.Someone had placed one, all legs sticking upwards, right in the middle of the road, on the yellow divider line. They had placed an empty whiskey bottle in it's legs.Made it look like it was laying there drunk.Let the banjo playing begin.
