    Default Simple Sunday - 1/24

    Morning Everyone

I've been working on the computer, updating my blog and creating a menu planning calendar.

Nothing planned for the outside today, so when I eventually get out of bed and officially begin Sunday I am going to work on the small projects around here.

    Have a great day!
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Mahalo for getting us started Lady V!!

Sunday is still football day!! So will get up, make coffee and breakfast, and read the Sunday paper. Will do my bike riding in the morning.

Will be decluttering the LR all week, so I'll see how much I can get done on it today!!

Need to plan my meals for the week and make lunches and snacks.

    Lesson plans for the preschool.
Prep for the preschool week - another 4 day week since we have Furlough Fridays!!

Will see what else pops up during the day!!

    have a peaceful Sunday!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

I am going to make a heatless cooker. They seem pretty interesting. Basically you start your beans or whatever to a full boil and then put the pot with the beans in it in a larger well insulated container and let them slow cook in their own retained heat all day. I think its similiar to a crock pot and probably a forerunner of it.

I have seen them in antique stores before made of wood with hay for insulation and have been fasicinated. Also, this summer I think a solar oven is on the schedule.

I also have some things to do for the office, but that shouldn't take more than an hour.

I have to go to Lowes to get the insulation I want for the cooker so while I am there I will go ahead and get some seeds for the vegatables I want to plant on the patio. Pretty sure its not going to amount to much since I get no direct sunlight, but I shall try anyway.

    Happy Sunday everyone.

Now if I could only go to sleep!

    Good afternoon everyone (time difference).
We've been having somewhat of a lazy day.
On saying that I have been very busy behind the computer getting our trip in June/July finally finished.
You can have NO IDEA how many times a person has to fill in their passport numbers when you travel to the US.
It doesn't even have to do with heightened security since we had to do the same thing last year too.
Also today I want to get a menu done for the week, clean out a cupboard and look out a BEAUTIFUL evening/gala dress that I want to bring to a store that will sell it for me (I am kidding myself if I think that I will EVER fit it again).
The money that I get for it will go into our vacation fund.

Have a great and peaceful Sunday everyone.

We slept in a little today, (till 7:30!) so I'm getting a bit of a late start, but it's all good.

Today, my home time will be spent doing laundry and watching some TLC or HGTV while I fold.

However, this morning I need to run to Walmart to pick up a gift for a b-day party that my middle guy is going to this afternoon. Then, I have to take him to the party.

Maybe get in a little reading, and I'm sure there will be board games and card games along the way, as well.

I'll also update the blog, and dinner is leftover, free pizza!

Today will be a rather lazy Sunday for us. I need to do my morning routine, go to the hospital, exercise and work on my bible study. Dinner will be leftovers as I want to clean out the refrigerator. Have a good Sunday everyone.

I am going to my Mom's today for a cooking lesson! She is teaching me to make her meatballs, then later in the day we will
have a spagetti and meatball dinner together.

This will be the first time in over a year that I will not spend all of my time there working. I am finally getting some quality time with Mom!

Mom never taught my sister and I how to cook the wonderful things she made. We just reaped the benefits....
