I filled the outdoor stove with wood and water(took four trips in and out of the house with water jugs!)
Made breakfast
Unloaded and re-loaded the dishwasher
That is probably it for today. I am dead tired from having to do the outside and inside work while dh has been stuck this weekend. Gonna make potato soup for supper, then crawl into bed and try to stay awake to watch my Colts in the Super Bowl!S

Good morning!
My WHOLE family is still sleeping, GASP! So I have been enjoying absolute silence for the last hour. AWESOME! Went down and added more wood to the fire. It's such a treat not to hear the furnace kick on!
After I finish laying around drinking my coffee, I plan on getting busy and doing laundry, cleaning the living room, making my menu and shopping list for the week, and working on putting all of my budget information into my "virtual envelope" binder. I'm so pumped about paying off debt. Sure, it will take us 5 years, but after those 5 years, it will be such an AMAZING feeling to be on the other side of it!
Okay, enough of my reverie! Enjoy your day, folks! Hopefully the Super Bowl won't be a blowout this year!

Haven't accomplished too much so far today...this is what I've done:
~ Emptied the dishwasher
~ Took out garbage
~ Swept the dining room floor
There is so much on my mind today because DH and I have been talking about future plans and how we can get out of Michigan in the next 5 years. There are TONS of things to think about!!! He wants to go to law school and unless he gets into a really good one, his choices afterwards will be limited because the degree will be regional. He graduates with a bachelors in English/film studies next year, God willing. Anyway, we are kind of at a "crossroads" with our lives right now and we just want to make things better. Whew! It feels good to get that off of my chest!

I stupidly sat up until after 4 a.m. last night. Slept til 11, cup of tea, then a quick breakfast (leaving MORE mess in the kitchen), dressed, grabbed supper, came to work.
At work, a few things - updating an interlibrary loan invoice database, compile January cirulation statistics, go thorugh a box or two of files in the archives. Mostly just keep checking in here, hoping for interesting new posts! With the Super Bowl - and the Saints in it - my student assistant and I will probably be the only ones in the library all evening. It's going to be very, very dull. I doubt he's a football fan, but there's a big (silent) tv in the back corner. I'll let him go back and watch the game if he wants to.
After work, maybe some crocheting, maybe wash dishes before bed if I can work up the ambition. I'm off the next three days and I may just leave them for morning.Donna
