Happy Valentine's Day! Not that I really celebrate it, cause I don't need to someone to tell me that on a certain day I have to acknowledge my love for somebody. Yet I digress...

This morning was slow going! My oldest dd's friends threw her a surprise birthday party this morning, which was so sweet! She opted for a pair of Uggs from us instead of throwing a party due to she couldn't just pick a handful of girls instead of all 17. Anyways, while she is there, I am back home with the younger two and trying to get busy!

So far, I've hauled in another load of wood, started a load of laundry, and loaded the dishwasher.

    Still need to:
    Take out steaks for supper
    More laundry
    Make beds!
    Clean my bedroom
    Mop the floors
Play skip-Bo and teach it to youngest dd
Watch movie with dh tonight! YAY!
Possibly start putting together a blog. We'll see...

Now it's time to get busy!
    Have a great Sunday!

It's Daytona 500 day. In my house that means it is "Leave Momma Alone 'Cause She Is Watching The Race Day". DH and the kids leave me alone, they are quiet and take care of all the chores so I can enjoy the race.

Basically, I've been watching coverage of the festivities since 8:00 am and am patiently waiting to hear DW yell "Let's go racing boys!".

For the remainder of the day I'll be watching the race, snacking on the BBQ, stew, chips and salsa, pigs 'n blankets and fresh fruit we have prepared for my Race Day Snackfest tradition!!!

    Happy "Made Up Holiday" Day

Just doing some laundry, making a chocolate tart for dessert, and watching the Olympics.

    Have a great day!
